【摘要】:Inthistestmethod,theamountofparticulategeneratedintotheairbyoperatingavacuumcleaneroveraspecificfloorcoveringthatiscontaminatedwithdustwillbedetermined.Particlesfromthemotor,floorcovering,andthetestdustwillallbemeasured.Theamountofdustgeneratedinthelaboratorypracticewilldifferfromthatinresidential/commercialinstallationsbecauseofvariationsinfloorcoverings,soilandothersolidparticulatecompositions,thevacuumingprocessusedbyindividualoperators,theairexchangerateofheating,ventilation,andairconditioning(HVAC)systems,andotherfactors.Toprovideauniformbasisformeasuringtheperformancein4.1,astandardizedtestchamber,equipment,floorcoveringmaterial,anddustparticulateareusedinthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesalaboratorytestforthemeasurementofparticulategeneratedasadirectresultofthevacuumingprocess.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoallresidential/commercialuprights,canisters,stickvacs,centralvacuumsystems,andcombinationcleaners.1.3Thistestmethodappliestotestdustremovalfromfloorcoveringsnottheremovalofsurfacelitteranddebris.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly1.5Thistestmethodmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
