【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththepracticalselectionofsilencersfornoisecontrolingaseousmedia.Itspecifiestheacousticalandoperationalrequirementswhicharetobeagreeduponbetweenthesupplierormanufacturerandtheuserofasilencer.ThebasicprinciplesofoperationaredescribedinthisInternationalStandard,butitisnotasilencerdesignguide.Thesilencersdescribedaresuitable,amongothers,—forattenuatingsystemnoiseandpreventingcrosstalkinheating,ventilationandair-conditioning(HVAC)equipment;—forpreventingorreducingsoundtransmissionthroughventilationopeningsfromroomswithhighinsidesoundlevels;—forattenuatingblow-offnoisegeneratedbyhigh-pressurelines;—forattenuatingintakeandexhaustnoisegeneratedbyinternalcombustionengines;and—forattenuatingintakeandoutletnoisefromfans,compressorsandturbines.Theyareclassifiedaccordingtotheirtypes,performancecharacteristicsandapplications.Activeandadaptivepassivenoise-controlsystemsarenotcoveredindetailinthisInternationalStandard.
