【摘要】:ThisSAERecommendedPracticedefinesminimumfunctionalrequirementsforquickconnectorsusedinsupply,return,andvapor/emissionslinesforflexibletubingsystems.Thedocumentappliestoautomotiveandlighttruckgasolineanddieselfuelsystems,withoperatingpressuresupto500kPa,5Bar,(72psig)andoperatingtemperaturesupto115degreesC(239degreesF).Thesetestsapplytonewconnectorsinassemblyoperations.Connectorsmustbepushedontoamatingtubeendthenpulledbacktoassurecompleteconnection.Forserviceoperations,thematingtubeshouldbelubricatedwithSAE30weightoilbeforereconnecting.VehicleO.E.M.fuelsystemspecificationsmayimposeadditionalrequirementsbeyondthescopeofthisgeneralSAEdocument.Inthosecases,theOEMspecificationtakesprecedenceoverthisdocument.
