【摘要】:Specifieslabelingandperformancerequirementsforapacemakeremergencyinterventionsystem(EIS),whichconsistsofamagnetandabradycardialpacemaker.Whenapacemakerconformingtothisstandardisperceivedtobeoperatinginanonstandardway,orinawaythatisnotunderstoodbytheexaminer,themagnetcanbeusedtoreprogramthepacemakertoastandardmodeasspecifiedbythestandard.AnEISisintendedtobeusedinemergencyrooms,clinics,orothermedicallocationswhereaphysicianskilledinpacemakersisnotimmediatelyavailable.Follow-uptouseoftheEISshouldalwaysoccursothatthepacemakercanbereprogrammedtoanoptimumsettingbyaphysicianskilledintheuseofpacemakers.
